Marketing Assistant (Cheerleading), Indianapolis Colts
May 2014 - Present
It has truly been an honor working for the Indianapolis Colts this past season in the marketing department helping with the Colts Cheerleaders. With this position, I had the opportunity to travel to Mexico for the calendar shoot, work with other departments at events and be a part of the game day experience. This role has taught me the importance of social media, sponsorship expectations with larger organizations and event management within a professional sports league. My main responsibilities were managing the social media accounts for the team and scheduling appearances along with assisting the coach with her needs.

I was hired on after graduation to help with managing and coordinating the first and second rounds of the NCAA Division 1 Women's Basketball Tournament held at Mackey Arena in March. With this position, I assisted the event coordinator with catering, hospitality, game-management and venue set-up needs while learning more about the industry.
Athletics Communications, Purdue Athletics

As a student intern for the organization throughout college, I worked with the organization's social media networks in interacting with fans. I also learned how to organize and maintain systems for archiving photos and statistics for the athletic department. While working in the office, I learned how to use Adobe InDesign and Photoshop with creating media guides and recording statistics. Corporate Challenge Intern, Indiana Sports Corp
June 2013 - Oct. 2013
As the ISC Corporate Challenge Intern, I was responsible for helping with the financial, sponsorship, production and operations portion of the largest fundraising event for the organization. I worked closely with my boss in planning the event, which had 133 teams participate in and over 8,000 guests attend. I was also able to volunteer at NCAA and ISC events throughout the summer such as the Division I, II, and III Rowing Championships, Youthlinks and Nine & Wine. I was able to hold this internship while being a student at Purdue finishing up my degree. Time management became a valuable skill for me.
Purdue All-Access, Purdue Athletics
May 2011 - May 2012
Working with Purdue Athletics as a student reporter, I learned how to develop interview questions for athletes that are recorded in features for their specific sport. I was able to conduct on-location filming, editing, and production for each segment I worked on. With this, I am proficient in Final Cut Pro 4 and iMovie.
Let Me Play, London
Summer 2012
I was fortunate enough to study abroad in London, England with Purdue University and assigned as an intern during the time at Let Me Play, where I was able to create press releases for the organization, manage their social media content and design an agenda for the annual transition camps held at the local schools. While in London, I adapted to the work culture in a different country while gaining work experience.
